BRISTOL, Pa. (CBS) – A man believed to be a person of interest in a fatal hit-and-run in Croydon has barricaded himself inside a Bucks County home on Thursday night, sources confirm to CBS3.
Police currently have a home surrounded near Pond and Dorrance Streets in Bristol.
SWAT units and the Bristol Borough Police Department are on the scene. No injuries have been reported.
Sources say the man inside the home may be linked to a hit-and-run that left a 46-year-old man dead earlier this week.
Police say the victim was struck around 7 a.m. Monday in the 2900 block of State Road in Croydon.
Witnesses told police that a white 2000 Ford Focus had driven off the road from where the victim was struck and down into a nearby ditch before the driver fled into the woods.
