PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) —
TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy and mild with showers developing late. Lows 57-61.
SUNDAY: Flash Flood Watch has been issued for Lehigh, Northampton counties, as well as the Poconos. The watch goes into effect at Noon, as these areas will see a soaking rain. Cloudy and damp with periods of rain. Some of it will be heavy at times, especially during the afternoon and evening. Some flooding is possible in low lying areas and areas of poor drainage. Rainfall totals of 1-3″ with isolated heavier amounts. High 66.
MONDAY: Some lingering rain is possible in the morning, but we should dry out fairly quickly and by the afternoon, we transition to partly sunny skies. High 58. It will also be blustery with wind gusts in the 40-50 mph range.
TUESDAY (HALLOWEEN): Sunshine returns with a seasonably cool high of 60. We may still be in the upper 40s and low 50s for morning Halloween parades in school parking lots. Most areas will be in the 50s for trick or treating with a slide into the upper 40s in some suburbs later in the evening.
WEDNESDAY: This is a pleasant day with a mix of sun and clouds and a spotty shower. High 62.
THURSDAY: Clouds thicken with the chance of another shower or two. High 68.
FRIDAY: Look for partly sunny skies with an instability shower not out of the question during the afternoon. High 70.
